01Overview

OCM Auto is built by O.C.M Autos as a free offline companion app — a diagnostic symptom checker, a dashboard warning light glossary, and a maintenance reminder. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your information when you use it.

The short version: nothing leaves your device, because nothing is sent anywhere. There is no server behind this app, and we have no way of seeing what you do inside it.

02Information we collect

OCM Auto does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, device identifiers, or analytics. We do not use cookies, trackers, advertising IDs, or third-party SDKs of any kind.

Any information you enter — such as a last-service date or mileage for the maintenance reminder — is saved only in local storage on your own device. It is never transmitted to O.C.M Autos or to any third party, and we have no access to it.

03Permissions

OCM Auto does not request any device permissions — no camera, location, contacts, storage, microphone, or notifications access beyond what your device's OS provides by default for local, on-device reminders.

04Internet & offline behaviour

The app is designed to work fully offline. It does not require, and does not use, an internet connection to function. All symptom logic, warning light references, and reminders are bundled into the app itself and run entirely on your device.

05Third parties

Because OCM Auto sends no data anywhere, there is no data to share with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third party. We do not sell, rent, or trade any information, for the simple reason that we never receive any.

06Children's privacy

OCM Auto does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all. The app is suitable for general audiences.

07Data deletion

Since all data stays on your device, you can remove it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app — no request to us is needed.

08Changes to this policy

If OCM Auto's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature — we will update this policy and the in-app description before that version is released, and this page will reflect the change with a new effective date.
